Annette’s School of Dance is a second generation dance studio entering its 38th season.

Annette Ellis, was the CEO and artistic director of Annette’s School of Dance and ran a successful studio for 35 years. Annette received her CDTA certification and with her love of tap moved towards creating full length productions. She is known and recognized for her incredible choreography, creative patterns, and entertaining productions. Mrs. Ellis loved to pass on her love of dance and enjoyed seeing it shine through her students. Her studio was not just a place to dance but a second home. Attending dance classes every week is so much more than just dance. The life lessons, commitment, discipline, and friendships stay with you for years to come. In October, 2021 Mrs. Ellis stepped back indefinitely due to health reasons and passed away June 2, 2022. Her daughter, Cayla Ellis quickly took over and the season ended with an incredible year-end show.

Cayla Ellis is excited to follow in her moms footsteps and now be the owner and artistic director of Annette’s School of Dance.
